Anti-social behaviour |

This week is ASB Awareness Week 2025. This is a national campaign running from 30 June to the 6 July created to highlight the issue of ASB and to help people take a stand against it whilst promoting safer communities.
As part of this approach, the Cotswolds Neighbourhood Team are playing their part in tackling the issue whilst continuing to work alongside organisations across the UK in support of this on a wider scale.
Now in its fifth year, ASB Awareness Week 2025 highlights the impact that ASB has on victims and communities, raises awareness of the support available to victims, and promotes partnership working: bringing together councils, housing associations, police, charities, youth organisations and community groups, reflective of the fact that everyone has a role in tackling ASB.
The week is supported by HM Government, Local Government Associations and key partners including the National Police Chiefs’ Council, National Fire Chiefs’ Council, Historic England, Neighbourhood Watch, the Premier League Charitable Fund, Association of Police and Crime Commissioners and others.
Antisocial behaviour takes many forms, from aggressive, noisy or abusive behaviour to neighbourhood disturbances involving drugs, abandoned cars or animals.
If you are experiencing any issues with ASB in the areas you live, please don’t sit in silence. We are actively encouraging those with issues revolving around ASB to report the matter to Police or other agencies, such as housing, environmental health or the local council. If you witness any incidents of antisocial behaviour, please report it online here: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/ro/report/asb/af/antisocial-behaviour/ Always call 999 in an emergency.
